- 1 Open twine and go to Profile.
- 2 Tap Delete account.
- 3 Confirm. This is permanent and cannot be undone.
Email us from the address linked to your twine account with the subject "Delete my twine account". We will verify ownership and complete the deletion.

If you want to remove specific content (memories, photos, wish entries, or date history) without closing your account, email nikkyamresh8@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my twine data" and describe what you want removed. We will process the request within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account record (sign-in identity) and email address.
- Your push notification tokens.
- The encrypted content (ciphertext) we store for you.
When one partner deletes their account, the shared couple space is dissolved and the deleting user's server-side data is removed. Your partner's device-local copy of shared memories may remain on their device.
Timing
Deletion from production systems completes within 30 days. Data may remain in encrypted backups and logs for up to 35 days before automatic purge.
Because your content is end-to-end encrypted, anything remaining in backups stays unreadable ciphertext. No one, including us, can read it.
